Olivia’s First Snow
Gratuitous cute dog post ahead. You’ve been warned.
December 5th, 2009 - Our first “big” snow in Boston (Somerville) and Olivia’s first snow ever. Olivia is from Florida and one would assume she’s never witnessed snow before.
At first she wouldn’t even come out of the house. When she did she was cowering as she walked. She finally made it down into the yard and here are the results.
Once she got over the initial shock of white stuff everywhere she decided there was only one thing to do, eat all of it. We quickly found out if we threw snowballs near her she would eat those, and in order of us throwing them.
After eating a bunch of snow I think she decided everything was ok and then decided to run like a maniac.

After posting the photo of the UP inspired hot air ballon yesterday I felt it was necessary to post this video that I randomly came across this morning showing the balloon taking off. (It’s pretty dark and in the bottom left until the very end of the video when it finally takes off.)
